EventIT Scotland

Recently, we had the pleasure of visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh for an EventIT conference.

The trip started off with a great networking event at the Radisson Red in Glasgow. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet many individuals working in the industry in Scotland.

Coupled with a tremendous view from the balcony, it was a great way to kick off the expo. With the all day expo featuring various venues, team building companies, and other suppliers from all over Scotland, it was a unique opportunity to meet and learn about all of them. Additionally, the master classes featuring topics of Event Technology, Festivals, and Event Technology provided further insight into where the industry is going and how it is being shaped.

After a fantastic day at the expo in Glasgow, we were quickly whizzed off to Edinburgh for a few site visits the following day. A definite highlight was seeing the new Kimpton Charlotte Square and having an amazing meal at their restaurant BABA. With a quirky and hip feel, this 4 star hotel makes prides itself on the personal touches they provide to their guests. We would highly recommend giving a Kimpton Hotel a chance should the opportunity arise.
