Hampshire FAM Trip

Last weekend I joined a brilliant FAM trip organised by Hampshire Conference. 34 of us were split across 3 hotels which we visited over the weekend.

It was a beautiful drive up to Rhinefield House Hotel you really feel relaxed, like you’re in the middle of nowhere. When checking into the room there was a generous hamper of goodies, something from each venue.

On Friday evening we toured the modern conference facilities named after the local Hurst Castle, with a convenient separate entrance from the main hotel. We enjoyed a delicious buffet style dinner in a private dining room. We enjoyed the local Lymington gin from Dancing Cows Ltd and the cocktail menu was endless.

On Saturday we stopped at Careys Manor for breakfast and a tour of their conferencing facilities and authentic Thai restaurant. Princess Coaches transferred us to the Lymington Yacht Haven for a thrilling sailing experience with LYC Events.

In the afternoon we had a guided tour of Beaulieu Motor Museum and we checked out the fantastic Top Gear exhibition then a tour of the beautiful Palace House, followed by a Champagne reception at The Montagu Arms.

On Sunday the Balmer Lawn Hotel hosted a brunch. The refurbishment has made the property look very smart including the bedrooms, an extension to the Beaulieu rooms allowing 150pax theatre style and a newly installed Micro Brewery!

If you are looking to hold your next event in Hampshire or are looking for venue hire in Hampshire then please do contact us today and we’d be delighted to propose some of these inspiring venues.
